Chris has been creating photographs for nearly 30 years. Starting with borrowed cameras he concentrated on photographing friends and family, occasionally capturing images from his travels to far off relatives.
Chris has traveled extensively and photographed such diverse locations as England, Fiji, Scotland, Tahiti, Australia, New Zealand, France, Spain, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden and the United States, as well as various provinces across his native Canada.
Over the years Chris has developed a broad range of work, capturing precious memories of brides and grooms on their wedding days, photographing sports and events, social occasions and creating portraits of individuals, families and groups. His work is held in private collections throughout Canada, England, the U.S., Sweden, and Switzerland. He has taught introductory courses on film and digital photography and provided private instruction on Photoshop.
Although he dabbled in the darkroom, it was not until he invested in his first digital camera system in 2003 that Chris was inspired by the possibilities available to him. With digital photography, he was now in control of the complete process, from image capture to output.
At present, Chris is concentrating his photography on Sports and Events, Weddings and Portraiture. He is in the process of testing On-Line Gallery software for display of his images and will be examining available options for on-line sales in 2008.
